She is survived by her husband, Reverend C. Donald Thrash, to whom she was a loving and devoted pastor's wife for over 60 years; her daughter and son-in-law, Donalyn and Jeffrey L. Crowley and their daughter, Kendall, of Trenton, MO; her son and daughter-in-law, Torrence and Pamela Thrash and their son, Nathan and daughter Amanda, both of Dayton; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Junior Reinders, of Ireton, IA; a brother and sister-in-law, Harris and Rita Van Oort, of Omaha, NE; Three great grandchildren, Mia, Mari and AJ; many other relatives and friends.
Marilyn graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northeast Missouri State University. She was a teacher in the Iowa Public School System and retired from Dayton Christian Schools. She held memberships in several organizations including The Burris Women's Club, The Spinning Road Baptist Church, Huber Heights Y.M.C.A., Ohio Snowbirds and was an associate member of the Korean War Veterans Association. Throughout her life, she has been a devout Christian woman in all walks of life.
