Harry Boyd Bryan was born Jan. 3, 1925 in Mill Hall, PA. He was the son of Grace Stevenson (later Fravel) and Raymond Bryan. He was the second child of the couple, the first was his sister, Esther. The couple never married as Raymond was already married. His grandparents, for the most part raised him.

Harry worked for the Lock Haven plant of Bloomsburg Mills, the old silk mill.

In the late 1940's he married Shirley L Rhine. In Sept of 1957 they adopted a baby girl, Gale Lynn. In 1963 Harry and Shirley divorced.

In the late 1960's he began dating Judy Bumgardner. This union resulted in a daughter, Cathy Ann Bumgardner, bore Jan 11, 1970. Harry and Judy lived together until his death but they never married.
