Augustus Poole (Pool)was a physician in Oswego. His first wife Mary Anne Spring died bet 1859-1863. They had three children, Mary Adelaide, Charles Henry and Edgar T. In Mary 1864 Augustus married Frances E Rathbun, widow of James Comly Cooper. Their children were Josephine Augusta, William Harrison, and Kate Keith Pool
