Ruth Hice, age 83, of London, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born January 25, 1930, in Miner Switch, Missouri to Cecil Orville and Belma Ruth Bradley Whiteside. She was an active member of the East 16th Street Church of Christ in Russellville. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Charles, Oren, Milo, John, Willard, and Joseph Whiteside; a sister, Virginia Boardman; and a son, Cecil Wayne Hice.

Survivors include her husband, Delmar Hice of London; a daughter and son-in-law, Pat & Larry Campbell of Littleton, Colorado; a sister, Emma McCoy of Benton, Missouri; four grandchildren, Monica Thompson, Jude Campbell, Kim Quesada and Tyler Hice; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by Mr. A.W. Goff. Burial will be in Brock Cemetery near London, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
