He was a member of the Life Savers Club and the choir, both at the school. Born in Freehold, he was a lifelong resident of the area.Surviving are his parents, Jeffrey Sr. and Lisa Lebers Buckalew; brothers, Justin and Joshua; his paternal grandparents, Hilton and Maude Buckalew; his maternal grandfather, Warren Lebers Jr.: his maternal grandmother, Carol Megill; paternal great-grandmother,Lottie Buckalew; maternal great-grandmother, Muriel Burke; maternal great-grandparents, Warren Lebers Sr. and Mae Lebers.
