Eva G. Simpson, 84, of Pea Ridge, died Tuesday, July 30, at her home. She was born August 3, 1928, at Spivey, Kansas, to Vernie Bernie Ferguson and Lucinda Jane Parsons Ferguson. She moved to Pea Ridge in 1964 from Kansas to make her home. She worked at the Pea Ridge Tomato Canning Factory and Hudson foods in Rogers. She enjoyed cooking, photography, helping others, and being with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Pea Ridge United Methodist Church and is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Simpson in 2009; thirteen brothers and sisters, and one great-grandchild. Survivors are two sons, Joe Simpson and Ruby of Seligman, Mo., and Rodger Simpson and Debbie of Centerton, Ar.; three daughters, Jeanie Pinkerton of Wichita, Kansas, Vicky Wilson and Richard of Humphrey, Ar., and Martha Armstrong and Gary of Rogers; eleven grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation is set for Friday, August 2, 2-4:00p.m. at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Graveside service will follow at Tucks Chapel Cemetery at 4:30p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels of Rogers. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net
