Peacefully, after a long life, well and devoutly lived, Dorothy Cherrington-Showell (nee Myers) passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Leisureworld, Gravenhurst, in her 104th year. Predeceased by her loving husbands; Frank Cherrington and William Showell. Dearly loved and loving mother of Donald (deceased), Ruth (deceased) and Allan of Gravenhurst. Loved grandmother of Donna Williamson (deceased), Carolyn Cherrington, Wendy Oughtred and Lesley Toner (deceased) and Michael; great-grandmother of Donald, Andrea, Tracey, Scott, Adam, Jason, Alexandra and Jennifer and great-greatgrandmother of four and she will be missed by many nieces, nephews and her special friends Joe Williamson and Florence Bird. A funeral service with interment at St. Jude's Cemetery, Oakville has already taken place.
