PRINCETON Funeral services were Friday at Princeton United Methodist Church for Hazel Hoeft, 77, who died Tuesday in Princeton.
The Rev. Jack Harris officiated. Burial was in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Arrangements were by Hanson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hoeft was born Oct. 29, 1904, in South Dakota to the late Victor and Lora Lou (Perry) Mathieu. She married Walter Hoeft in 1920 and the couple lived in Princeton where she was a member of Princeton United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of Elim Home for the past two weeks.
Survivors include daughter and sons, Mrs. Erick (Hester) Erickson, Lester and Wallace, Princeton; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dec. 19, 1967, and five brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers were Bruce and Gene Hoeft, Kerry and Kyle Johnson, Terry Miller and Dan Olene.
