Mrs. Hoeft was born Oct. 29, 1904, in South Dakota to the late Victor and Lora Lou (Perry) Mathieu. She married Walter Hoeft in 1920 and the couple lived in Princeton where she was a member of Princeton United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of Elim Home for the past two weeks.
Survivors include daughter and sons, Mrs. Erick (Hester) Erickson, Lester and Wallace, Princeton; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dec. 19, 1967, and five brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers were Bruce and Gene Hoeft, Kerry and Kyle Johnson, Terry Miller and Dan Olene.
