Jan Vondra's correct name was Wondra. He came to the USA with his second wife Marie. He married Rozalie Bares after Marie died. He originally settled in Nebraska then moved to Chicago. He was a blacksmith. He carried a side pistol all his life. He was part of the Chicago Riots. He had a police stick that he took away from a policeman during the riots. He was my grandmother's father.
