Corporal Andrew M Sutton was a member of Company L, 3rd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regimental Combat Team and was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy near Chindong-ni, South Korea on August 30, 1950.

He was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Army of Occupation Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
