CAVANNA, Darci Michelle Marks
Darci Michelle Marks Cavanna, 29, of Hitching Post Lane, Glastonbury, beloved wife of Frank B. Cavanna, Jr., and cherished daughter of Allan S. and Annette G. Marks of East Hartford, passed away Saturday (Nov. 14, 1998) surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Darci was employed by People's Bank.
Besides her husband and parents, she leaves a sister and brother-in-law, Cheri-lyn and William Cavanna of East Hartford; a brother and sister-in-law, Evan R. and Jodi Marks of Simsbury; two brothers-in-law, Richard Cavanna and David Cavanna; a very special sister-in-law, Sheri Cavanna; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Martha Cavanna, Sr. of South Glastonbury; and three nieces and a nephew. Darci touched many people with her infectious smile and caring heart, and she will be sorely missed.
Funeral service will be Monday, 2 p.m., in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 2534 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home, today, 4-7 p.m. The family will observe Shiva at the home of Darci's parents in East Hartford, Monday through Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, Retreat Avenue, Hartford, or to the Mikayla Rose Cavanna Fund at Temple Beth Tefilah, Oak Street, East Hartford.
