Born February 9, 1902, in Elliott County, he was the son of the late Bill and Samantha Burton Parish.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Stella Cox Parish; and two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Cline of Morehead and Mrs. Ada Cox of Hillsboro.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Leslie A. Henderson Funeral Home, Olive Hill, with Clifford Price and Willard Day officiating. Burial was in the Clay Cemetery.
