Barbara Martha Delgado, age 80, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at the McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August, 3, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, G-2316 Coldwater Rd., Flint, MI. Fr. Eduardo Lorenzo and Fr. Cecilio Reyna officiating. Interment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday and Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 P.M. Friday at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Barbara was born September 17, 1932 in Lapeer, MI. to parents Clarence and Helen (McCray) Miller. She retired as a supervisor from Genesee County Parks after 27 years of service. Barbara loved her Church, fishing, camping, her cherished dog Rosie and keeping in touch with her friends and family on Face Book. Surviving are her children Catherine Delgado, Cynthia Dimond, Laura Anselmo, Lois Delgado, Anthony (Cheryl) Delgado; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister Linda Hamilton; many nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband Tony Delgado, four sisters and a brother. Contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.
