With the exception of a short time when the family lived in California, Donnie spent his life in and near Stockton where he attended school and church.
Since leaving school, he hadn't had steady employment but had worked for a time in Kansas City and, in car repair shops here.
Donnie, no doubt failed in many things but the most important thing in life was taken care of by his remembering his Creator in the days of his youth and being saved in a meeting at the Amity school house conducted by his father and Elder Webb Foster, in the early part of 1957. He united with Hopewell Baptist church and was baptized March 4, 1957.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Corda Rosenbaum on December 23, 1939 and by a baby sister, Jean Carol, July 20, 1943.
He leaves his parents, two brothers, Kyle of Belton, Mo., and Lyle of Stockton; his grandfather, Boyd Rosenbaum, his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Claude Bough; also two sisters-in-law, two nieces and two nephews, three aunts and five uncles along with other relatives and friends.
Donnie will be sadly missed by loved ones and friends, but as the Psalmist David said concerning a loved one. "We cannot bring him back but we can go to him."
