SARCOXIE. Mo.- Services for
Charles H. Dawson, 90-year-old
Sarcoxie resident who died Sun-
day,a few hours before final rites
were conducted for his son, will
be at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon
in Ulmer-Moss chapel. The Rev.
Kenneth Holman and the Rev.
C.M. Hatfield will officiate.
Burial will be in Cave Springs
cemetery.
His son, Roy A. Dawson. 59,
died in St. Vincent's hospital at
Monett. and services were con-
ducted Sunday afternoon.
The elder Dawson had been re-
siding with his son and daughter-
in-law the last 14 years. He had
been in failing health several
years and had been bedfast the
last two and one-half years. The
son's home was at 906 Joplin
street in Sarcoxie.
Charles H. Dawson was born
July 12, 1870. near Sarcoxie and
lived in this area his entire life.
He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are two sons, Chester
and Wayne Dawson, both of Sar-
coxie route 2 : three daughters,
Mrs. G.R. Overall. Sarcoxie route
2, Mrs. Loren Brooks of Sarcoxie
and Mrs. Nellie Cash of Joplin:
11 grandchildren and 14 great-
grandchildren.
