Technical Sergeant Jamil M. Ali, age 46, passed away March 3, 2011. Jamil was born and raised in Detroit to Israil (deceased) and Leola Ali.
He proudly served in the Indiana Air National Guard for 20 years in the 181st Intelligence Wing as a Technical Sergeant. He was an accountant for the Defense Finance and Accounting Srvices of Indianapolis.
Jamil was a dedicated father and husband, loving son and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Lynette, children Tiffany, Aysha, Melech, Nila, Shamaila Williams, Leilani Thomas, and godsons, Carey and Jaevon Bernard.
He also leaves behind his mother, siblings, Nurjahan, Fulljahan, Ismail, Liloma, Komala, Zorina, Lesu, mother-in-law Eleanor, father-in-law Bennett, borthers-in-law Steve, Bill Daniel, Rodney, Wayne, Bennett, Kareem, Gary, Charles, & Bryant; sister-in-laws gloria, Gersena, Latanya, Patricia, Kizzie, Kimberly, Chaka Khan and a host of extended family and close friends.
