Elizabeth Louise Perry Ainsworth

Mrs. Elizabeth Louise Perry Ainsworth, 83, of Greenwood, died of heart failure Friday, October 3, 1997, at her home. Mrs. Ainsworth was born in Carroll County, but was a lifetime resident of Greenwood. She was a member of the Vineyard Church in Greenwood. She recently celebrated her 63 years of marriage to C. A. Ainsworth, she was considered to be a second mother to Billy Perry, Sr.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, at Williams & Lord Chapel with the Rev. Dennis McKay officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood.

Mrs. Ainsworth is survived by her husband, C.A. Ainsworth, Sr. Greenwood; one daughter, Jean Walker of Greenwood; one son, Cleveland Ainsworth, Jr. of Rico, Arizona; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tommy McCrory, Louis Fancher, Jr., Dalton Alford, Ray Little, Miller Wayne Bush, and Bryon McKay.

Honorary pallbearers were J.E. Alford, Dr. Raymond Browning, Miller Bush, Don Gayle, Mike Ellis, John Cheatham, Jr., Billy Perry, Billy Perry, Jr., Charles Dallas, Jr., Peter Tebetts, Haggard Belk, Alvin Woods, Steve Little, Darrell Little and Dwaine Little

Memorials may be made to Vineyard Church in Greenwood.
