Obituary:

Robert "RD" JOHNSON
61, went to be with the Lord February 2, 1995. Survived by his loving wife, Sally Ann; sister, Dorothy Kastner; daughters, Bonita, Noreen, Bobbie and step-daughters, one great grandson, several nieces and nephews. RD was a former Seattle Police Officer (Drill Team member), District Manager of Stuart Anderson's Black Angus and owned his own pub and restaurant. He was an avid golfer, bowler and fisherman; a veteran of the Air Force; former Seafair Commodore, and outstanding teacher. RD was one of the most generous and helpful people on this earth. He accepted the Lord and was baptized on January 8, 1995. His life was extended for two years thanks to a liver transplant made available from The Organ Donor Program and the University of Washington Cancer Clinic. Due to the complications of his illness, the doctors at the U.W. cancer center learned so much from RD that they will be able to save lives and help find a cure. A Memorial Service will be held at Bellevue Church of Christ, 1212 104th Ave. S.E. in Bellevue at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 11. In lieu of flowers, all donations are suggested to Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland or the U.W. Radiology, Oncology Department in memory of Robert D. Johnson. We all love and will miss you so very much. Bleitz Funeral Home.
