Reuben Stallings died suddenly near Greenville 11 December of heart disease. He was born 12 June 1821 in Butler County and never lived anywhere else. He was married twice and is survived by the 2nd wife. He was one of the hardest working men in the county. Burial was in the Shiloh Cemetery. He is survived by 4 children, including Esq. J. F. Stallings

Gravesite Details
Reuben Stallings is not buried in "Shiloh Cemetery" but in the Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Butler County, at the intersection of The Ridge Road (Co. Rd. 54) and Sherling Lake Road (Co. Rd. 44). Thanks to Annie Crenshaw (47035607)
