CHARLES I.SLATON, 81, PASSES AT HOSPITAL
Charles Iverson Slaton, long time resident of Atlanta, died Monday night at a private hospital. He resided at 624 Echo Street, N. W. and was 81 years old.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. J. H. Giles and several grandchildren.
Findal rights will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Bellwood Baptist Church, with the Rev. C. D. Reagan officiating. burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery under direction of Awtry & Lowndes.
Aged 81 years. Retired. Lived at Alms House. Son of C. J. Slaton and Mary Unknown/Slaton. Father born in Ga. J. H. Giles of 624 Echo Street, N. W., Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, gave information for death certificate.
Died of apoplexy and hypertension.
