Son (one of twin boys) born to French immigrants Jean Marie Trebaol and Jeanne De Kersuason. His twin brother was Frank; details of his death are not known. They were the second and third born out of fifteen children overall. Yves Trebaol died of an acute intestinal infection at the age of five. Four years after his death, the ninth child, Yves John (originally Pierie) was born, adopting the name of his deceased older brother.
