31 Oct. 1938: Word has been received here today of the untimely death of of Professor William H. Behney, in Burlington, Vermont, where he has resided for a nember of years. He was a former Lebanonian. He was aged 35 years, and ten years held the Professorship in Zoology at the University of Vermont. He temporarily took over the duties of the state director of fish and game, and was engaged in these duties when he was stricken. [Lebanon Daily News]
