Born Dec 7, 1907, in Jefferson County, she was a daughter of Juel and Omea O'Neal Ackley. She married Rya Harmon Dec 8, 1925 in Buffalo Hart. He died April 16, 1968.
Surviving are two daughters, Loretta Snyder of Mason City and Lula Bunker of Pawnee; three sons, Jack of Hickory, N.C., William of Lincoln, and James of Belleville; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; two brothers, wilburn Ackley of Jacksonville and Arie Ackley of Middletwon; and two sisters, Arnola Willis of Petersbug and Edity Harp of Easton.
She worked as a dietitian for the state of Illinois 17 years. She was a member of Assembly of God Church.
Services were Friday, Dec 24 in her church and burial was in Mason City Cemetery.
