MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. - Rita Blanche Hoag, 80, a 14 year resident of Middletown, N.Y. and formerly of Wappingers Falls, died at home on Wednesday, May 1, 2002. Born in Berlin, N.H. on July 13, 1921, she was the daughter of Joseph and Juliette Roberge Nault. On Jan. 9, 1941, she married Edwin J. Hoag in Yonkers. Mr. Hoag predeceased her on July 30, 1988. Survivors include two sons, John Hoag and Ray Hoag of Middletown, N.Y.; a daughter, Carol Dale of Newburgh; two sisters, Mary Guertin and Doris Nichols of Massachusetts; three brothers, Raymond, William and Frank Nault of Massachusetts; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Claire Berridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 6, at 10 a.m. at St. Denis Church, Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Hopewell Junction.
