As you can see above, her mom Magda used a variation of her own mom's last name of Dombrowski "Dombus", instead of citing her own father's family name of Moskaluk. I'm not entirely sure why this was done.
Sometime about 1920 she took in her sister's daughter Sophie when her sister passed away just weeks after giving birth to Sophie.
In 1923 she married Peter Black in Sifton, Manitoba and they had 8 children.
Several years after Peter's passing, Mary moved to Winnipeg about 1948.
She passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 84.
