Gwladus Rose Savage was born June 9, 1881 in Wales to Col. Hugh & Catherine Lucy (Hall) Savage. She was the fifth daughter of ten children.

In 1915 'Guy' as she was known, married William Llewelyn Williams. They made their home in Racine, Wisconsin, USA.

Guy was visiting her extended family back in her homeland Wales since August 2, 1956 when she became ill and died after a short illness.

She was buried in the family grave at Glanadda Cemetery, Wales. The family grave is in the central plot of Glanadda Cemetery, Bangor - a plot reserved for Mayors, Professors and other local notables.

*Note: There is also a gravestone in Racine, Wisconsin USA (empty grave) where her husband is buried.
