Services celebrating the life of Tyrone Jonathan Goodmond Sr. were held Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at New Scott Olly Baptist Church, Bishop Lynell Smith officiated. Interment followed in at Central Loouisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville.

He is preceded in death by his son, Tyrone Jonathan Goodmond Jr.; parents, Thaddus and Bertha Goodmond; maternal grandparents, Hicks and Selma Harrison; brother, Thaddus Jonathan Goodmond Jr.

Tyrone Jonathan Goodmond Sr., 51, of Gretna, formerly of Bronx, New York, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in Gretna.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was last employed by Union Pacific Railroad for 17 years.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his wife; two daughters of Pasadena, Texas; son of Harvey; grandson of Pasadena, Texas; two sisters; two brothers.

Arrangements were under the direction of Boyce Community Funeral Home.
