James Elridge Aguillard passed away on Sunday August 4, 2013 at the age of 83.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday August 6, 2013 at 2 PM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata. Father Henry Broussard will officiate. Burial will follow at the St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Elridge is survived by three sons, Wayne Aguillard and wife Angela of Eunice, Randy Aguillard of Eunice, and Terry Aguillard of Durald; two sisters, Loyce Morris of Las Vegas, NV, and Jeanette Cormier of Eunice; two brothers, Gilman Aguillard and wife Winnie of Port Barre, LA, and Lawrence Aguillard, Jr. and wife Bobbie of Scott, LA; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Olivia Blanchard Aguillard; his wife, Edna Douget Aguillard; one great granddaughter, Skylar Aguillard; two sisters, Winnie Fontenot and Mary Landry; and two brothers, Homer Aguillard and Leith Aguillard.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Monday August 5, 2013 at 4 PM to 10 PM. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6:30 PM. The funeral home will reopen Tuesday at 8 AM for visitation until time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
