Edward F. Anderson, son of Oscar and Hanna Anderson was born at Agenda September 13, 1901 and died at Council Bluffs, Iowa on June 17, at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 4 days.

He received his education in the schools of Republic county and was united in marriage to Freda Gilmore on April 18, 1926 to this union four sons and one daughter was born.

He farmed all of his life until he retired in 1962, when he and his wife, Freda moved to Pacific Junction, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda, in 1973, his parents, three brothers, Ernie, Henry and Albert, one sister, Esther.

He is survived by four sons, Millard, Raymond, Keith and Virgil; one daughter, Patricia Jones; one brother, August Anderson of Agenda; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Ruby) Baxa of Cuba, Mrs. Alice Jarrett of Agenda; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Memorial Chapel of Belleville conducted by Rev. Tom Ballard. Interment was made in Farmington Cemetery north of Cuba, Kansas
