The particulars of the passing of Mrs. Tom Smith, who died at her Oak Hill home Monday of last week, were not furnished this paper, but the editor knows that a wonderful neighbor and splendid spirit has been called to a happy reward. Truly, God's finger touched her and she slept. Just a year or so before her passing her husband, Tom Smith, was called from this mortal coil, and the two now lie beside each other in Oak Hill cemetery, joined in death as they were in life.
A son, Thomas, Jr., now resides in Texas, and will always be remembered as one of Plain Dealing High School's outstanding F. F. A. members.
