Bobby L. Crockett, age 79, of Lamar, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Freeman Hospital West after a short illness.
Bobby was born February 7, 1931 in Barton County to Barney and Hazel (Golden) Crockett. He served his country as a soldier in the United States Army. On August 11, 1956, he married Velma Marie Loewe at Fair Play, MO. Together they have four children.
He was a member of Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church, an Elder at Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a 27 year member of the Barton County Rural Electric Authority, a member of the VFW, a member of the Doylesport Township Road Board, a Sunday School Teacher, a MFA Board Member and was a cattle and grain farmer.
