Bettie A. (Jury) Kitzmiller, 84, passed away Monday, September 19, 2006, at Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in York.

She was the wife of John C. Kitzmiller, with whom she celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on September 15.

Mrs. Kitzmiller was born in York, on August 7, 1922, to the late Norman Jury and Ethel King.

She was employed as a production supervisor for the former Bluebird Textile, retiring in 1992. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Dover.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one stepson, John C. Kitzmiller, Jr., of Spring Grove; one granddaughter, Dana L. Grim of Thomasville; and one brother, William Smith of Dover.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth (Libby) Berger.

There will be a viewing from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday from the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh).

The funeral service will begin at noon with her pastor, the Rev. John M. Woods, officiating. Final resting place will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, Dover.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 17 S. 19th St., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
