Santos Umayas, 77, of Keaau, Hawaii, a papaya farmer, died at home. He was born in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Victoria R.; sons Avelino, Jess, Angel, Al, Jesus, Samuel and Phillip; daughters Melissa and Eunice Umayas, Esther Lynn Lucas, Rose-Ann Jaraos and Loida Abo; brother Cipriano; sister Cristina Culannay; 31 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary. Call after 6 p.m. Graveside services and burial: 10 a.m. Sunday at Alae Cemetery.
