After graduating high school, he served in the Korean War. Roy enjoyed woodworking, bowling and fishing. He worked as a union electrician for about 30 years.
He also designed and built our home in addition to two other homes and two boats, The JudyAnn and The LyndeeJ. His pride and joy were his grandchildren.
Roy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lola (Sue); children, Cyndie Sazehn, Susie (Don) Snyder, Judy Newell, David Jensen, and Dixie (Rick) Hall; grandchildren, Darien Newell and Kelsey Snyder; brother, Lee Davis; brother-in-law, Bruce (Karen) Gross and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Orangewood Church of the Nazarene, 7510 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Roy's name to the Salvation Army preferred.
