The family of Mr. Otis D. Blake, Jr., has chosen Haisten McCullough Funeral Home to arrange and conduct his service.
Mr. Blake, age 80 of Griffin and a Veteran of the United States Air Force, died Sunday August 4, 2013, in Wilmington, North Carolina.
A complete obituary with survivors will be announced.
Memorial services for Mr. Otis D. Blake, Jr. will be conducted on Saturday August 10, 2013, at 11:00am in the Sanctuary of Griffin First Baptist Church. Dr. Bruce Morgan, Dr. Bill Hardee and Rev. Brian McCartney will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends at the home of Ellen and Otis Blake, III, 1011 East College Street, Griffin, GA on Friday August 9, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
The family will receive friends again on Saturday August 10, 2013, at a reception following the memorial service in the Family Life Building of Griffin First Baptist Church.
Interment for Mr. Blake will be private in Oak Hill Cemetery with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to organizations or charities honoring his life. Those preferred by the family will be announced as information becomes available.
