Priscilla's birth was recorded in the annals of Conway, Massachusetts, however the majority of her census responses indicate she was born in Ontario County, New York. Although her family was enumerated at Conway in 1820, her father (a clothier) did relocate his family to Phelps, where he died in 1825.

After Father's death, some of the Redfield children appear to have stayed with their mother (she remarried at Phelps in 1835), but Priscilla was a resident of Pittsfield, Mass.,* when she was married to John Robertson of the same place on New Year's Eve, 1841; Justice of the Peace Ira Hand, of the town of New Lebanon, New York (bordering Pittsfield), officiated.
* Priscilla had several relatives in Pittsfield through her maternal grandmother's Luce family.

A daughter and son were born to them in Massachusetts (the birth of Andrew is on record at Pittsfield), but Priscilla ultimately returned to Phelps with her husband and children about 1848 and remained there. Chronologically, it's interesting to note that Priscilla's grandmother passed away in Phelps in 1849; although Grandmother Boyden had lived in Conway, Massachusetts, throughout her 60-year marriage, she relocated to Phelps after Grandfather's death in March, 1848. Perhaps she traveled with the Robertsons, enabling her to reunite with eldest daughter Polly (Priscilla's mother).

Priscilla Robertson outlived her husband and three children; she was survived by her grandson John R. White, brother Joseph B. Redfield, and sister Martha Diefendorf. Her will was probated in Ontario County.
