David Joseph Balazs, 48, of Painesville Township OH, passed away on Aug. 25, 2009, at his residence. He was born Sept. 28, 1960, in Euclid. [David Balazs' Ohio birth record shows he was born in East Cleveland OH.]
David was a 1979 graduate of Lake Catholic High School . He was known for his hard work ethics and his love of Cleveland sports.
He was the son of Steve and Phyllis (Whitely) Balazs; brother of Steve (Sandy) Balazs of Spencer OH, Dennis Balazs of Willoughby OH, Mary Beth (Rich) Grgic of Concord Township OH, Kim (Ken) Flanagan of Crownpoint IN, Patricia (Thomas) Linden of Mentor OH, Julianne Balazs Schlaiffer of Tampa FL, and Catherine Balazs of Willoughby; and uncle of Matthew Balazs, Mary Balazs, Amber Balazs, Sarah Grgic, Rebekah Grgic, Claire Grgic, Luke Grgic, Brendan Flanagan, Meaghan Flanagan, Martin Flanagan, Andrew Linden, Cassandra Linden, Samantha Schlaiffer, and Elizabeth Schlaiffer.
He was preceded in death by his sister Annie Balazs and grandparents Philip and Susan Whitely and Andrew and Mary Balazs.
