Irena M. Alley, 72, died March 11, 2015 at a Jonesport Healthcare Facility surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 16, 1942 the daughter of the late Hiram W. and Kathleen (Alley) Alley.
She loved raising her family, including being a foster parent to over one hundred children. She enjoyed attending her children's events and was very active in her church and community.
She is survived by her children; Debbie Kelley and Darrell; Warren Alley and Gordon; Loudell Alley and Mark; Tammy Alley and Dave; and Amileigh Alley and Kendrick. Her grand-children Kenneth and Jenna; Marileigh; Rianna and Mykel; Analeigh and Aiden; a great-grandson Solomon; sisters, Janie Frenette and Dennis; and Sharon Alley and Dennis; a sister-in-law Rita Norton; uncle Archie Alley Jr.; aunts Lorna Alley and Lucille Tibbetts; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years Harleigh, and a grandson Timothy.
