E.J. Sims, 63, of Norman, Okla., died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, at Norman.
Born June 14, 1939, in Cushman, he was the son of T.J. and Esther Cole Sims. He was a retired salesman, a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons, John Sims, Joe Sims and Mark Sims, all of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Sharon Gallant and Christene Bullard, both of Oklahoma City; a sister, Ella Fern Fulbright of Batesville; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jackie Sims; two infant brothers; and an infant sister.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Willis-Hays Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with the Rev. Bobby Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Cushman.
Pallbearers will be Steve Fulbright, Robert Davis, Bobby Davis, Elvin Girtman, William Bullard and Kent Murphy.
Honorary pallbearer is Larry Crafton.
