FLOYD MILLION
DIES AT HOME
Had Been Ill For- Sixteen- Months
Was Well Known over State.
Floyd Million, 86, head of the
Million Sand and Gravel company
of Lake Cicott until its recent consolidation
with the American Aggregates corporation
died at his Home at Lake Cicott at 4 o'clock
Tuesday afternoon. He had been
ill for sixteen months with Addisons
disease.
Mr. Million and his brother for-
med the gravel company a quarter
of a century ago. He was well
known over Indiana and Illinois
where he had a wide business acquaintance
among contractors and public officers.
The Cass county man was one
of the prime movers in the plan
that brought federal road No. 24
through Case county as a paved
highway. Surviving are the widow
a son, Frank, now connected with
the American Aggregates corporation,
two. daughters, Mrs. Frank
Morris and Mrs. Paul Girard, and
a sister, Mrs, Leona Gardner of
Idaville.
Mr. Million was a member of
the Burnettsville Masonic and I.
0. 0. F. lodges.
Funeral services will be held at
the residence at 2 o'clock Thursday
afternoon with Chase and
company in charge. Burial will be
made at the Davis cemetery east
of Burnettsville.
