Thomas E. Davies, 64, office manager for the Middletown plant of the Packaging Corp. of America, was pronounced dead on arrival at Middletown Hospital at 3 p.m. yesterday after suffering a heart attack at his home, 210 Aberdeen Drive.
Mr. Davies was born in texas and had been a resident of Middletown 60 years. He has been employed by Packaging Corp. about 45 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; two sons, Robert Davies and William Gillen of Middletown; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Burkham of Delaware, Ohio; three brothers, Earl of Franklin, and Roy and Harry of Middletown; and 9 grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Wilson Memorial Home, with Dr. Austin Whittmore officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the memorial home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Butler County Heart Association.
