Mrs. Gust Wood Dies at Home
Rites for Medford Woman Set Saturday
Medford -- Funeral services for Mrs. Gust Wood, 71, will be held at the Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday. She died at her home on E. Perkins street Monday evening.
Burial will be made in the Hillside cemetery, Marshfield, the Rev. Henry Boubelik officiating. The body will lie in state at the Hartwig and Ruesch Funeral Home until an hour before the services when it will be taken to lie in state at the church.
The former Louise Ziebarth was born at Mayville, Dodge County, April 26, 1878. She lived at Marshfield with her parents for a time and Jan. 18, 1893, was married at Rozellville to Gust Wood. In 1903 the couple moved to a farm northwest of Medford, and three years ago they retired and moved to the city.
She is survived by her husband, and two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Ella) Schultz, Medford; and Mrs. Phil (Dorna) Coats, Neenah. Four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive:
Albert Ziebarth, Spencer; August Ziebarth, Kansas; Mrs. Minnie Conrad and Mrs. Gustie Brandel, both of Wausau; and Mrs. Alvina Fischer, Milwaukee
