County to John Marion Yancey and Myrtle Hughes. He was a retired coal miner and minister and member of Day Ridge Pentecost Church of God. He was married to Juaneva Craiger on March 30, 1946 in Wise, VA. Preceding him in death were his parents; five brothers, Clyde, Vernon, Edd, Orville and Alonzo Yancey; and three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Craiger, May McCartt, and Esther Tupper. Survivors include his loving wife, juaneva, Whitley City; and a son, Robert Denver Yancey, Whitley City. R. F. Neal Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
