RETTIG, Julia C. age 83 passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon in 1985. She is the oldest daughter of the late Otto and Florence Finkbohner. Julia is survived by beloved daughter Claudia Ritter and husband Ronnie of Tipp City, one granddaughter Julie Gibson of Tipp City, two precious great-grandchildren Kayla and Michael, both of Tipp City, two sisters Esther Shaffer and husband Lloyd of New Carlisle and Anna Wood and husband Ed of Dayton. Also loving nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. She was a retiree of Sears Roebuck Co. and a member of their Retiree Club. She had been a volunteer at Miami Valley Hospital since 1985. Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 Sunday, July 10 at the Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton- Xenia Rd., at Grange Hall. Funeral service 11:00 am Monday at the East Dayton Church of Christ, 3415 Linden Ave. Pastor Scott VanDyke officiating. Interment at Centerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Miami Valley Hospital in her name.
