HAYES - Christopher Francis Carmine, 35, died at his home June 16, 2005. Chris was a commercial waterman. He was preceded in death by his father, Cary Francis Carmine, and is survived by his wife, Sonia Wright Carmine; children, Vivian Carmine, Naija Carmine, Jaquez Wright, Aleck Wright and Victoria Angel Carmine; mother, Mary Linda Carmine; sister, Tanya Yvonne Childress, her husband, Tony, and their daughter, Mallory; brother, Scott Carmine; as well as a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Donald Ambrose, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel of Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In Chris' memory, memorial contributions may be made to the educational fund for Vivian Carmine, c/o Chesapeake National Bank, P.O. Box 1078, Mathews, VA 23109.
