CHARLES W. BABINGTON, well-known retired farmer of near Middletown, died Friday morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Moser, near Boonsboro, aged 76 years.
A son of the late George and Mary Babington of near Myersville, he is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Moser; five sons, Oscar, Roy and Clarence Babington, all of near Boonsboro; Glenn Babington, near Frederick and Lloyd Babington, Middletown; 24 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Middletown Lutheran Church. Remains rest at the funeral home in Middletown, where services will be conducted Sunday 3:30 p.m. Rev. Howard McCarney, will officiate. Interment in the Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown. Please omit flowers. Gladhill Co., funeral directors.
