Nona was married first to Harvey Emery Montgomery in 1927 in Bozeman, MT. Two sons were born of this marriage, Earl Richard "Dick" (Baker) and Robert Lee Montgomery. Her second marriage was to Frederick Levi Baker, Jr. Her last marriage was to Henry Hilton Manning, June 22, 1944 in Boulder, MT.
Two children were born of this marriage; Kieth Henry Manning and Linda Sue Manning.
Hank and Nona and their two children moved from Wyoming to Three Forks, MT in 1951. Nona was an excellent cook and worked at various cafes in Three Forks throughout the years. She always put her family ahead of herself and worked very hard all of her years.

Nona M. Manning of 947 N. 25th St. came to Billings in 1968 and with her husband, Henry H. Manning, had managed Jack's Motel. She died at age 68 Friday in Deaconess Hospital.
Born in Mountain City, Tenn., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Josh Nichols, she came to the Gallatin Valley as a child and was married in 1944 in Boulder. Before coming to Billings, they lived in Wyoming and in Three Forks, where she worked as a cook. Her husband died in October.
Survivors include three sons, Kieth Manning of 947 N. 25th St., Dick Baker of Helena and Robert Montgomery of Bozeman; a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Linda) Brendgord of 1417 Avenue E; two stepsons, Donald B. Manning of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and Harry Manning in Alaska; a stepdaughter, Mrs. James Deveraux of Casper, Wyo; a half-sister, Mrs. Austin Lunceford of Tampa, Fla; an aunt, Mrs. Torrence Dunahoo of Bozeman, five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
