Son of Charles Miler and Jane (Arthur) Miller.

Married Hannah Elizabeth Bird on October 16, 1882, in Oakland, Pottawattamie Co., Iowa.

Together, they had 10 children:

Lewis Moseles Miler, seventh child of Charley and Jane Arthur Miler was born April 21st, 1864 near Liberty, Clarke county, Iowa, and passed away February 3, 1934 at his home 6 miles southwest of Woodburn, age 69 years 9 months and 12 days.

He was united in marriage to Hannah Elizabeth Bird, October 16, 1884. To this union were born ten children: Nina F. Hering of Atlantic, C. Elmer of Osceola, Roy S. of Oakland, Selestine M McVey of Bussey, Goldie A. Rose of Carson, Harvey W., Clarence E., Loyd E. and M. Elsie Harris all of Osceola. One son, Earvle preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn at his departure his wife, 9 children, 20 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Henry of Ramona, Missouri, 2 sisters, Mary Ream of Eugene, Oregon, and Susan Jones of Kansas.

He was a very patient sufferer, speaking of the kindness of his aged wife and also spoke of soon being no more trouble to those who were caring for him. All was done by kind hands of both relatives and neighbors that could be done. He atience at the last although suffering much until becoming unconscious will be long remembered and his presence among us will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Webster Funeral Home, with Rev. G.E. Maixner of the Foursquare church in charge. Interment was made in Maple Hill cemetery.
