Frank Rupley Daum, 100, of Marysville, PA, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at his home with his wife by his side. Frank was born in Marysville, PA on February 4, 1913, the son of the late John and Anita (Rupley) Daum. He was employed by the Federal Government and helped to setup the Social Security System in Baltimore from 1939 to 1943. He retired as a supervisor from the New Cumberland Army Depot in 1973.

A lifetime member of the former Zion Lutheran Church, Marysville. He was Past District Governor of Lions International from 1976 to 1977 and Past President of the Marysville Lions Club, a member of Perry Lodge #458, F& AM, Past President of the Golden Age Club, Marysville and served on the Board of Perry Village.

Surviving are his wife of 73 years, Ruth Marie (Fehl) Daum, a son: John E. Daum, Marysville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Andrea Lightner and a sister Mary Little.

A viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 16, 2013 in the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Masonic services will be conducted by Perry Lodge #458, F & AM at 11:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of the Masonic Services with Pastor Beth G. Martini officiating. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Perry Lodge #458 F&AM, P.O. Box 43, Marysville, PA 17053. Shalonis -- Marysville
