Kenneth Wayne Allen, son of Denver Ray and Barbara Jean (Murphy) Carpenter Allen, was born in Greene County, Missouri, May 17, 1953 and departed this life on July 18, 2013 at his home in Springfield, Missouri,

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Oleta Leonard, and a brother, Marvin "Pete" Whiteman.

He is survived by his children, Julie Samuel- Nelson, of the state of Illinois, Joseph Royce Allen, Seymour[ Jeffery Ray Allen, Rogersville; Kenna LeAnn Harmon, Springfield; Joshua Ryan Allen, Kara Lynn Allen and Kayla LaRissa Allen, all of West Plains, Missouri; and Kyle Wayne Allen, of Fulton; fifteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a sister, Shelia Rogers, of Fairplay, Missouri; three brothers, Jimmie Allen, of Springfield, Missouri; Charles Allen, of Stockton, Missouri; and Johnny Whiteman of Seymour, Missouri.

Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Marines.

He will be greatly missed by all.
